JOG Ports

Below is a short description of the ports that JOG visit during the year.

Cherbourg - famous cross Channel port with regular sailings from Portsmouth - stock up on quality wine, beer and cheese!
St. Vaast - home of the famous Gosselin family delicatessen and quay side bars and restaurants with fresh local mussels and oysters.
Deauville - smart and chic resort for Parisians, welcoming local Yacht club - great Normandy food.
Fécamp - famous for its local Benedictine liqueur and yacht club hospitality - and the seas over the bar!
Alderney - one of the closest and welcoming yacht clubs you will find, with a great variety of local restaurants and cheap spirits.
St. Peter Port - home of the Blenheim Group Trophy for JOG yachts, always a pleasure to visit.
St. Malo - home of the French Corsairs in a rebuilt walled city. Fantastic local restaurants all around the walls, and a beautiful place to stay in the old port alongside the walls and yacht club.
La Trinite - a picturesque old port in Southern Brittany offering a selection of fine restaurants.
Dartmouth, Weymouth, Yarmouth, Cowes and Poole - all English ports with plenty of food and hospitality for JOG racers.
We also visit St Helier and Le Havre from time to time.
